Reading a product entry

A bank can publish separate records with the same product name where terms or customer segments differ. Use the source identifier to distinguish records when discussing a published product with the bank. The provider update date belongs to the feed; the check date records our most recent retrieval.

The catalogue omits rates and prices. Archived tiers, fees or illustrative rates may no longer apply to a particular borrower. The bank's own product information and the written terms it offers are the right places to check the amount, repayment basis, eligibility and security.

Comparing a written proposal

Record the amount available after fees, the contractual term, whether monthly payments include principal and what remains payable at maturity. Enter the terms in the cost-of-debt comparison. You can find guides to common borrowing purposes alongside the tools.
